The Discovery streaked across the sky overhead this
morning before it flew out to sea, burned of some energy
and turned for its landing at KSC. This is the 4th time
I've been here to watch a spaceship land. One was on the
back of a modified 747.
The Atlantis was suppose to start its trek out to pad 39A
this evening but NASA decided that there would be rain and
lightning in the neighborhood so they postponed until 6 AM
on wednesday.
It's a busy week.
The X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle will launch atop an Atlas V.
Launch Time: 7:52 p.m. to 8:01 p.m. EDT
Launch Complex: 41 Cape Canaveral Air Force Station
Mission: A United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket carrying a
technology demonstration spaceplane known as the X-37B
Orbital Test Vehicle.
Then there was Air Force One, the president paid a visit
last thursday to let everyone know the new direction that
NASA will take.
Busy week.
